In order to cope with an increase in its activity on the North American continent, manufacturer of industrial tyres Magna Tyres (Netherlands) will open a new office in Canada. This agency will be under the responsibility of Mr. Alex Vitale recently appointed General Manager of the new Magna Tyres regional office for the USA and Canada.

The German trailer manufacturer Goldhofer has just acquired a 30,000 m2 site in Nürtingen to relocate its Airport Technology production facility in Ostfildern. Construction of the new plant is scheduled to begin in 2020 for delivery in 2022.

Faced with a recent increase in demand for internal airport logistics in the Middle East and Africa region, the manufacturer of heavy-duty and special transport vehicles Goldhofer has opened a new sales and service center for its Airport Technology division in collaboration with ALS Logistic Solutions on 11 December 2018 in Dubai.
In addition to its sales and service activities of its Airport Technology division, the new location also provides various services for the Transport Technology division in the region. This new sales and service center will be located in the Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai City.

Mammoet continues its development in Africa with the opening of a new office in Accra, Ghana. This new agency is expected to advance Mammoet’s offerings of specialist services in engineered heavy lifting and transport to the West African market. The official opening of the office was marked with an opening ceremony and an exclusive reception held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana, His Excellency Ron Strikker. At the opening ceremony, the Ambassador congratulated the Mammoet team and approved the Embassy’s support for the new office.
In order to pursue its policy of growth and expansion, Mammoet Germany has announced the opening of a new office in the city of Hamburg on December 13th.
“In order to recognize and implement our customers’ constantly growing requirements in the shipping and offshore wind sectors, it is important fir us to be present in the field in Northern Germany. (…) The Hamburg location will also give us optimal market penetration and cultivation in the local petrochemical market, with a stronger focus on the increasing challenges of the global logistics industry,” says René Biernacki, Commercial Manager North.
The Sarens Group has just announced the opening of a new branch depot in Mozambique near the city of Palma in the far north-east of the country. This new location is a part of the group’s strategy to ensure a permanent presence in the country with a view to the future LNG project in Mozambique in 2019. Sarens has already brought its 120T and 60T rough terrain, 100T all-terrain, and truck and trailer equipment to the site. Construction of the new 5,600 square meter depot is about to begin and will include accommodation, training facilities, office and workshop containers, workshop facilities, washing bay, laydown area, parking area ….
In addition, Sarens has made the choice to invest in the training of the local population. Thus, the group has already trained and certified three crane operators.
In order to support the company’s growth and increase the number of upcoming projects in the UK, Mammoet has just opened a new office in the Teesside are near Middlesbrough. More than 180 employees are active on this 6-acre structure (approximately 2.42 hectares), which consists of offices, storage, workshop space, training facilities and testing areas.
The company has also chosen to invest in new mobile cranes and specialist project equipment to be able to meet the future developments and demands of the UK market.
