DHL Express has placed an order for six additional 777 Freighters. The purchase takes DHL Express’ order book total to twenty-eight aircarfts since it placed its first direct order in 2018. The 777 Freighter improves fuel efficiency and reduces CO2 emissions by 17% compared to legacy airplanes. DHL Express has taken delivery of 15 freighter aircrafts to date.

The new aircraft will significantly contribute to our aspiration to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to under 29 million tons by 2030.”
