The terms that apply when you buy a magazine, a subscription or advertising from MOVE IT Magazine.
These terms and conditions of sale apply to all orders placed on moveitmagazine.com or with our team for: single digital issues (PDF), print and digital subscriptions, and advertising (website banners, sponsored content, newsletter and magazine advertising, design services). They apply to business customers and to consumers; where a rule applies only to consumers, we say so.
Each product page describes the main features of the product. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices for consumers include VAT where applicable. Business customers in the EU may be invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rules if they provide a valid VAT number. Delivery costs for print copies, if any, are shown before you pay. Promotions are valid for the period shown. If we made an obvious pricing error we will contact you before processing the order.
You place an order by adding products to your cart, checking your order summary, accepting these terms and paying. The contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email. Keep it for your records. You can correct input errors at any time before you pay. Contracts are concluded in English.
Payment is due when you order, by card or the other methods shown at checkout (for example Apple Pay or Google Pay). Payments are handled by secure third-party providers; we never see or store your full card details. Advertising orders placed with our team may be invoiced; invoices are payable within 30 days unless agreed otherwise. Late payments by business customers may bear statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Digital issues are delivered as a downloadable PDF in My account › Downloads, available immediately after payment. You will also receive an email link. Downloads are for your personal or internal company use; sharing or reselling them is not allowed (see our Terms of use).
Yearly subscriptions run for 12 months from the date of order and do not renew automatically. Monthly subscriptions are paid once for one month and do not renew automatically either: we never charge you again without a new order. When a subscription ends, you can renew it from our shop if you wish. There is nothing to cancel and no cancellation fee. Print subscriptions are posted to the address you give us; delivery times depend on the destination. Tell us within 30 days if an issue does not arrive and we will send it again.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
To cancel, send us a clear statement to info [at] moveitmagazine [dot] com or by post to our registered office, for example: "I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following order: [order number, date, name, address]." We refund you within 14 days, using the same payment method.
Advertising is booked on the product page or by written confirmation of our proposal. Advertisers must supply artwork in the required format before the deadline and confirm they hold all rights to it. Advertising must be lawful, accurate and not misleading. We may refuse or remove any advertisement that breaks the law or these terms. Banner periods start on the date agreed. If artwork arrives late, the period is not extended. A booked campaign can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before its start date; after that the full price is due unless agreed otherwise. If we cannot deliver a booked placement, we will offer an equivalent placement or a refund for the part not delivered.
If something goes wrong (a download fails, an issue is missing, a charge is wrong), contact info [at] moveitmagazine [dot] com. We aim to answer quickly and to solve every problem fairly. Consumers have legal rights if digital content is faulty (Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK): repair or replacement, and if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to comply with these terms. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses suffered by consumers, or for events beyond our reasonable control. For business customers, our total liability for an order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
We use your order data to process your order, deliver your products, send invoices and provide customer service. See our Privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the EU can also bring proceedings in their local courts and keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of their country. We encourage you to contact us first so we can find an amicable solution.
