Portuguese specialised transport company LASO Transportes SA recently acquired two MultiMAX semi-trailers to solve their missions for the transport of railway vehicles. The semi-trailers have incorporated rail guides in the loading platform and 6 steerable cranked axles, allowing for a reduced loading height of 740mm. Both vehicles come with a hydraulic winch and specialized accordion ramps for a smoother loading and offloading process. Besides railway vehicles, the MultiMAX’s can be used for numerous other transport tasks, such as wind tower sections etc.

In addition, LASO also took delivery of three quadruple extendable WingMAX flatbeds to transport the latest generations of wind blades. With an extended length of 70 meters, pendle-axles on 19.5’’ tires and the hydraulically lifting and lowering gooseneck, their new Faymonville WingMAX’s is ideal to overcome any obstacles. Sliding load supports for the blade tip frame enable these semi-trailers to be extended or retracted even under load.
