Sallaum Lines is expanding its vehicle transportation activities from sea to road with the launch of Sallaum Logistics Ltd, a dedicated automotive logistics company operating across Europe.

Headquartered in Lithuania, the new company will provide finished vehicle transportation between ports, factories, distribution centres and dealerships, extending Sallaum Lines’ global Ro-Ro network into inland logistics.

Sallaum Logistics will launch with 50 truck-and-trailer units, with plans to grow its owned fleet to 300 trucks by 2029. Services will include cross-border transport, port-to-dealer deliveries, fleet distribution, vehicle processing, pre-delivery inspections and storage at selected locations.

For years, customers have trusted Sallaum Lines to move vehicles across oceans with reliability, discipline and care. Sallaum Logistics carries that commitment further inland,” said Sami Sallaum, Chairman of Sallaum Lines.

Initial operations will cover Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, France, the Czech Republic and Poland, connecting major automotive gateways including Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Marseille.

The company will use GPS tracking, telematics and route optimisation technology to improve fleet efficiency and provide customers with greater visibility over vehicle movements.

The launch creates a more integrated vehicle logistics offering for Sallaum Lines, connecting its established maritime transportation network with road distribution across Europe.
