Goldhofer is expanding its presence in North America with the establishment of its first production facility and U.S. headquarters in Hickory, North Carolina.
The company will invest more than $20 million in the project, creating at least 80 new jobs by the end of 2030 while strengthening its manufacturing, sales and service capabilities across the North American market.
The new facility will be built on Lot 5 at Trivium Corporate Center and will initially feature an 80,000 sq ft production hall. Goldhofer has also outlined plans for future expansion as demand for its transport solutions continues to grow across the region.
The investment marks a significant milestone for the company, bringing production closer to customers in North America and enhancing its ability to provide local manufacturing, technical support and aftersales services.
By establishing both a production facility and its U.S. headquarters in Hickory, Goldhofer aims to reinforce its long-term commitment to the North American market while supporting continued growth in the heavy transport and specialised logistics sectors.
