The WOLFF 1250 B received the Tower Crane of the Year title at the Construction Machinery Middle East Awards 2026, recognising its performance on some of the region’s most demanding construction projects.
Presented in Dubai, the annual CMME Awards celebrate excellence across the Middle East’s construction equipment sector, with the Tower Crane of the Year category honouring innovation in lifting capacity, hook height, safety, efficiency and engineering.
The WOLFF 1250 B is the largest luffing jib crane in the WOLFF portfolio, offering a maximum lifting capacity of 60 tonnes and freestanding hook heights exceeding 100 metres. Designed for high rise and complex construction projects, the crane is currently operating on several major developments across the Middle East.
One of its largest deployments is at the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium project in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia, where eight WOLFF 1250 B cranes are supporting construction.
The award was accepted by Tariq Al-Sawaie, Managing Director of Wolffkran Saudi Arabia, who said, “Behind this success is a dedicated team whose expertise, commitment and passion contribute every day to the realization of some of Saudi Arabia’s most significant construction projects.”
In addition to receiving the Tower Crane of the Year award, Wolffkran was also shortlisted in the Rental Company of the Year and Specialized Lifting Champion categories, making the company a finalist in three categories at this year’s CMME Awards.
