AD Ports Group completed the acquisition of Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI), Brazil’s leading independent agri-bulk port terminal operator, in a deal valued at AED 3.1 billion ($835 million).
The transaction, first announced in June 2026, closed following regulatory and antitrust approvals from Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency and Administrative Council for Economic Defense.
It is the largest acquisition in AD Ports Group’s history and marks the company’s first strategic entry into South America.
CLI operates two major agri-bulk export terminals under long-term concessions. CLI Sul, at the Port of Santos, handles sugar, corn and soybeans, while CLI Norte, at the Port of Itaqui, forms part of Brazil’s Arc of the North agricultural export corridor.
“The formal completion of the CLI acquisition marks an important development in AD Ports Group’s international growth and strengthens our presence in one of the world’s most important agricultural export markets,” said Mohammed Al Tamimi, Chief Executive Officer of Noatum Ports – AD Ports Group.
The acquisition expands AD Ports Group’s agrifoods platform and creates new opportunities to connect Brazilian agricultural exports with its wider ports, maritime, logistics and trade network.
The Group also plans to develop new trade routes directly linking Brazil with Khalifa Port and the Abu Dhabi Food Hub in KEZAD, strengthening connections between South America, the Indian Subcontinent, East Africa and Southeast Asia.
CLI will now be integrated into Noatum Ports’ international operations as AD Ports Group looks to expand its presence in Brazil’s agricultural and logistics markets.
