Blue Water Wins Guyana Contract

Blue Water has commenced operations under a new third party logistics contract with ExxonMobil Guyana, providing warehouse and materials management services to support the company’s offshore drilling and production activities.

The contract, signed in March 2026, covers the management of ExxonMobil Guyana’s warehouse facilities, including materials management, logistics coordination, goods receipt, storage, distribution, preservation management and the provision of material handling equipment. Operations are designed to support offshore activities around the clock.

The first phase of the project includes the recruitment of 32 local employees across operational and supervisory positions. As activities expand, the workforce is expected to grow to around 50 direct employees, supported by a further 10 indirect roles, with all positions being filled locally.

The contract also marks the introduction of a new service line for Blue Water in Guyana. As part of its delivery strategy, the company will incorporate electric material handling equipment and international best practices to support sustainability, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
