Alimak Group AB has signed an agreement to acquire Australian elevator specialist Fuji Lifts as part of its continued expansion within the industrial lifting and access market.
Based in Melbourne, Fuji Lifts specialises in traction elevator modernisation and new installation projects. The company operates with a team of six employees and currently holds a contracted project portfolio valued at approximately AUD 2 million, equivalent to around SEK 13 million in revenues.
Following completion of the transaction, Fuji Lifts will become part of Alimak Group’s Industrial division, further strengthening the group’s capabilities within the traction elevator segment in Australia.
The acquisition is expected to officially close on June 1, 2026.
Jens Holmberg, Executive Vice President of Alimak Group’s Industrial division, welcomed the agreement and highlighted the company’s ambitions for future growth in the region.
He said the addition of Fuji Lifts represents an important step in expanding Alimak Group’s traction elevator activities while also strengthening local operational expertise and customer support capabilities.
