Jumbo Offshore has secured two contracts for the transport and installation (T&I) of transition pieces (TPs) for an upcoming offshore wind farm development.
Under the awarded scope, Jumbo Offshore will execute TP installation campaigns using one of its DP2 heavy-lift vessels. The contracts also include full management and operation of the marshalling yard, covering the reception of transition pieces at the quayside, transfer to the storage area, preparation for installation, and return to the quay for loading onto the installation vessel.
The awards further strengthen Jumbo Offshore’s position as a reliable partner for complex offshore foundation projects and reflect the company’s continued focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence within the offshore wind sector.
“We are proud to sign these contracts,” said Milad Sheikhi, Head of Sales and Business Development – Wind at Jumbo Offshore. “Jumbo Offshore continues to build its position as a contractor in the foundation installation market. Transition piece installation sits at the core of our expertise, supported by strong in-house project management and engineering capabilities, as well as a fleet of efficient installation vessels.”
