Jumbo Offshore Secures Mooring Pre-Installation Contract for FPSO Errea Wittu

Jumbo Offshore Installation Contractors B.V. has clinched a mooring pre-installation contract from MODEC Guyana Inc. for the FPSO Errea Wittu, set to be stationed offshore Guyana. The FPSO, with a storage capacity of 2 million barrels, is poised to produce 250,000 barrels of oil daily, along with gas and water treatment capabilities.

The FPSO Errea Wittu’s mooring system, comprising nineteen mooring legs, will be provided by SOFEC, Inc., a MODEC Group company. Jumbo Offshore, utilizing its specialized Heavy Lift Construction Vessel Fairplayer, will transport and install 19 suction anchors, 8,800m of chain sections, and 43,168m of polyester rope, streamlining the installation process.
