Palfinger Announces Key Leadership Promotions in North America

Palfinger, a global frontrunner in crane and lifting solutions, has announced the promotion of three key leaders within its North American operations.

Rob Engdahl has been appointed Head of Engineering for Global Stiff Boom Cranes, while continuing his role as Senior Director of Engineering for North America. With a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska, Engdahl has spent the past decade with Palfinger, leading product design and engineering in the region. His expanded role highlights his strategic vision and technical expertise, critical for driving global engineering initiatives.

Jason Holt has been named Vice President of Operations for North America and will join the company’s Global Operations Team. Holt, who joined Palfinger in 2013, has held various executive roles in plant management and operations. He has been serving as Interim Vice President of Operations since January 2024 and will continue to oversee operations from the company’s Council Bluffs, Iowa, facility.

Gustavo Rigon has been promoted to Vice President of Regional Procurement for North America and will be based in Omaha, Nebraska. Rigon, who began his career with Palfinger in 2005 in Brazil, has held various leadership roles, including his most recent position as Director of Procurement for North America.
