The fourth-generation BladeLifter G4 introduces a paradigm shift in performance, ensuring not only investment security and economic efficiency but also unparalleled safety for fleet operators.

Daniel Schulz, team leader at Steil Kranarbeiten, extols the BladeLifter’s remarkable stability and adaptability, particularly in handling rotor blades measuring up to 84 meters in length. The system’s exceptional versatility, including its capacity to maneuver through confined spaces, has left Schulz and his team thoroughly impressed during numerous last-mile transports to wind farm installations.

The BladeLifter G4 boasts an impressive load moment across its entire setup angle, guaranteeing up to 900 metric tonnes and a maximum installation angle of 60 degrees. For instance, during the transport of an 84-meter blade, the system’s maximum load moment requirement was 580 metric tonnes, showcasing its substantial reserves to accommodate even longer blades projected for future wind turbines, expected to reach up to 100 meters in length.

Beyond its robust load-bearing capabilities, the BladeLifter G4 offers unmatched maneuverability, allowing rotor blades to be swiveled over obstacles such as buildings and road dividers. Its adjustable width enhances route flexibility, minimizing the need for infrastructure modifications and reducing the time and resources required for route planning.
