Velebit Promet d.o.o. and Liburnia Maritime Agency Ltd. have strengthened their heavy transport capabilities with the addition of a self-propelled solution from Cometto.
The delivery includes eight axle lines from the MSPE range, designed for demanding operations in port and industrial environments. The equipment enhances the companies’ ability to handle oversized and heavy cargo across Croatia and the wider region.
The MSPE system features advanced electronic steering, allowing precise manoeuvring in confined areas such as warehouses and quay zones. With an axle load capacity of up to 70 tonnes, it is well suited for transporting heavy components including transformers and industrial modules.
The units also offer lifting capabilities for autonomous loading and unloading, reducing reliance on external lifting equipment and improving operational efficiency.
Cometto specialists provided detailed training to ensure optimal use of the new equipment.
The new fleet will be deployed primarily in port operations, supporting the movement of transformers from storage areas to quaysides, as well as a range of heavy cargo projects.
