TII KAMAG has introduced the KAMAG ePrecisionMover 101, the latest generation of its electric swap body transporter. The new ePM 101 combines the features of the company’s recently developed 101 vehicle generation with an advanced electric drive system, offering a solution designed to support emission free yard logistics while maintaining high operational performance.
According to Godehard Eidenhammer, head of sales logistics vehicles at TII KAMAG, the new model transfers the strengths of the 101 generation into an electric platform while maintaining the precision and reliability that customers expect. The PM series was originally designed for the accurate handling of swap bodies in busy logistics yards where high throughput and precise manoeuvring are essential. With the introduction of the electric ePM 101, operators can now perform these tasks with locally emission free operation while also reducing operating costs.

The vehicle offers dynamic driving performance, low noise levels and high efficiency through its precise electric drive control. Electrification also helps logistics operators improve their sustainability performance and reduce the carbon footprint of internal transport operations.
Operator comfort and ergonomics have been central to the design of the ePM 101. The cab follows the new design concept of the 101 generation and provides a spacious interior with a clearly structured control panel and digital display. Controls are positioned intuitively, while an improved seating and pedal layout enhances comfort during long working shifts. Optimised visibility and a low entry design support safe and efficient operation, particularly where drivers frequently enter and exit the cab.

The electric drive system combines lithium ion batteries with intelligent thermal management to ensure stable performance even in demanding temperature conditions. The integrated system manages both cab climate control and battery temperature, protecting battery cells and extending service life. Charging capacity of up to 100 kW allows the vehicle to recharge quickly during short breaks, enabling operation across multiple shifts.
Additional energy efficiency is achieved through recuperation during braking, which recovers energy and extends operating range. Together with reduced maintenance requirements and telematics connectivity through the KAMAG Connect system, the ePM 101 is designed to provide efficient and sustainable operation for modern logistics and distribution environments.
