At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, Terex Tower Cranes, now part of Raimondi Cranes, introduced the new CTL 712-45 luffing jib crane, expanding its high-capacity portfolio for demanding urban and high-rise projects.

Launched on the opening day of the Las Vegas exhibition, the 45-tonne luffer has already generated strong early feedback from customers. Designed to enhance performance, control and jobsite efficiency, the CTL 712-45 integrates advanced technologies aimed at delivering smooth, precise load handling throughout the operating cycle.

With a maximum jib length of 70 metres and a tip load of 5.8 tonnes, the crane is equipped with a 134 kW hoist winch, achieving lifting speeds of up to 226 m/min in single fall. It can be erected on an HD23 mast, reaching a 63.4-metre tower height in standard configuration and offering up to 131.2 metres height under hook at maximum radius. Competitive freestanding height capabilities make it particularly suited to dense urban developments.

Fully electric, the model supports quieter, energy-efficient operation, reducing both environmental impact and urban noise. Lifecycle efficiency has also been prioritised, with streamlined connections, standardised pins and bolts, reduced tooling requirements and ground-level primary assembly improving both safety and erection speed.

Operational precision is reinforced by the T-Line auto-levelling system, which maintains consistent load height during jib luffing, and T-Torque inverter technology for smooth, adjustable slewing control. The new S-Pace cabin further enhances operator comfort.

According to company representatives, the CTL 712-45 builds on the success of the CTL 702-32 and positions the brand for expanded global opportunities in complex, large-scale construction projects.
