Kässbohrer showcased ten vehicles across general cargo, intermodal, bulk, liquid and heavy haulage applications at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, including two new product launches.
Among the highlights was the new K.SSL 33 E, described by Kässbohrer as Europe’s first fully electric-compatible 33 m³ non-tipping cement silo with an onboard electric compressor for zero-emission discharge operations.
The silo has been engineered to work with electric trucks, with a tare weight reduced to 3,800 kg to compensate for the additional battery mass. Kässbohrer says the design can recover up to 44% of payload otherwise lost when operating with electric tractors.
For the heavy haulage sector, the company launched its new three-axle K.SLH S HS 3 fixed low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck. The trailer features three hydraulically steered axles with steering angles of up to 42 degrees, a patented auto-alignment system and a remote-control interface operating both the steering and hydraulic gooseneck.
The exhibited low-bed was also equipped with Kässbohrer’s Modular Floor System, allowing sections of flooring to be changed between steel grid, hardwood and rubber configurations in less than three man-hours.
Kässbohrer also presented its K.SLL P two-axle Pendle Low Loader, featuring independent pendle suspension, progressive hydraulic steering and a 600 mm suspension stroke, alongside the K.SKS B 27 steel tipper with new manoeuvrability and unloading features.
Across its wider display, Kässbohrer also highlighted developments in curtainsiders, swap bodies, container chassis and tanker technology as it continues to focus on efficiency, payload, safety and durability across its transport range.
