CMCO has expanded its Crosby Easy-Loc bolt securement system with 16 new capacities, extending compatibility across Crosby G-2130, G-2140 and G-2160 shackles.

The latest additions broaden the range of lifting applications supported by the patented system, which is designed to improve safety, simplify installation and enhance long-term reliability. Easy-Loc eliminates the need for traditional cotter pins, allowing shackles to be assembled without tools in just three simple steps using one hand.

According to CMCO, the system enables assembly up to 90% faster than the conventional bolt, nut and cotter pin method, helping reduce installation time while improving ergonomics for operators.

Designed for demanding lifting environments, Easy-Loc features a corrosion resistant construction and is compatible with DROPS safety requirements, reducing the risk of dropped components during installation and maintenance. The system can also be fitted to both new Crosby shackles and units already in service, allowing users to upgrade existing equipment. Larger capacities are equipped with integrated handles to improve handling and operator safety.

The expansion introduces six new capacities for the Crosby G-2130E shackle ranging from 25 to 150 tonnes, seven new capacities for the Crosby G-2140E from 30 to 175 tonnes, and three new capacities for the Crosby G-2160E covering 30, 50 and 55 tonnes.
