MCS Rental Software has introduced a new contract management view within its Customer Portal, giving rental customers greater visibility and control over their equipment and contract information.
The update provides a centralised dashboard where users can view the status and progress of all rental contracts in one place. Previously, contract information could only be accessed through individual sections of the portal, making it more time consuming to locate specific details.
Customers can now search and filter contracts using key criteria such as contract status, purchase order number, start date, postcode and equipment details. The new functionality also makes it easier to identify where individual assets are on hire and quickly access the relevant contract for breakdown reporting, off hire requests or general equipment enquiries.
The enhanced interface allows users to monitor whether equipment is currently on hire, booked, completed or awaiting return, while providing access to general job information, equipment specifications and contract progress without displaying sensitive financial data.
Nick Thomson, Chief Sales Officer at MCS Rental Software, said, “We’ve introduced a number of additional improvements to make managing contracts and rentals simpler and more efficient. Customers benefit from greater visibility of booked equipment, with all key contract and rental information available in one convenient location.”
Once invoicing has been completed, contracts are automatically updated to a completed status, providing customers with a clear overview of the entire rental process from booking through to completion.
