Nooteboom has expanded its EURO-PX3 low loader range with the introduction of a new 2+4 configuration, combining a 2-axle Interdolly with a 4-axle EURO-PX3 low loader to deliver greater payload capacity and enhanced flexibility for special transport operations.

The latest addition builds on the success of the third-generation EURO-PX3 series, which was launched at Bauma 2025 in Munich. Following the introduction of 3-axle and 2-axle versions, the new configuration has been developed to meet growing demand for higher payloads and versatile transport solutions.

One of the key advantages of the new 2+4 EURO-PX3 is an increase of more than 1,000 kg in payload capacity compared with the previous generation, while maintaining the robustness, reliability and ease of operation for which the range is known.

The 2-axle Interdolly is fully interchangeable with both previous EURO low loader generations and current EURO-PX3 models, providing operators with greater fleet flexibility and helping reduce total ownership costs.

The new trailer also benefits from an advanced steering system and optimised vehicle configuration, improving manoeuvrability and supporting easier access to long-term transport permits for oversized loads. Operators can also benefit from reduced requirements for second drivers and enhanced steering control when working in confined spaces.

Like all EURO-PX3 models, the new version features a wider U-trough, increased loading space, a lightweight yet durable chassis and reduced maintenance requirements. It is available with load capacities of 12 or 14 tonnes per axle line at speeds of up to 80 km/h.

The first 2+4 EURO-PX3 with a 2-axle Interdolly will be delivered to Schaften Rental Cranes and Special Transport.

Following its debut, the new model will be showcased at the Hillhead exhibition in the UK, IAA Transportation in Germany and the Mack and Heavy Transport Day in the Netherlands later this year, highlighting Nooteboom’s continued focus on innovation in the heavy transport sector.
