Dozier Crane & Machinery has deployed the world’s first Terex TRT 55US rough terrain crane in the United States following delivery from Raimondi Group.

The crane has already entered service on a major infrastructure project in Savannah, Georgia, supporting relay and substation expansion works for Georgia Power after being rented to R.R. Cassidy.

A long-standing Terex dealer in North America for more than 20 years, Dozier operates a substantial fleet of rough terrain cranes, including the TRT 100US and TRT 40US models. The addition of the TRT 55US further expands the company’s lifting capabilities in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

The 50-tonne crane features a 37.4-metre boom and three telescoping modes designed to improve operational flexibility while maintaining a compact overall width of 2.47 metres.

According to Matt Greenspan, vice president of Dozier Crane & Machinery, the TRT 55US was selected due to its strong lifting performance, compact design and load chart capabilities suited to demanding project conditions.

The crane was officially presented during CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 and incorporates advanced operational technologies including TEOS and T-Link systems for real-time monitoring, remote access and fleet management support.

Andreas Ernst, president of Raimondi North America, said the delivery reflects the company’s focus on meeting the evolving needs of the North American market, where compact dimensions and reliable lifting performance are increasingly important.

Dozier’s technical and operational teams also completed dedicated product training at the Raimondi North America service hub covering machine operation, control systems and maintenance procedures.
