Konecranes has secured an order to supply nine overhead cranes to PT Tata Metal Lestari for its facility in Sadang West Java.

The contract, booked in February 2026, covers delivery and installation scheduled for the third quarter of the year. The cranes will support material handling across all stages of the processing centre, from raw material lifting to production and warehouse operations.

The order includes multiple Konecranes CXT overhead cranes with capacities ranging from 10 to 30 tonnes, alongside three Konecranes S series overhead cranes. All units will be equipped with TRUCONNECT remote monitoring to enhance performance tracking and maintenance planning. In addition, Konecranes will supply a 10 tonne cantilever crane.

PT Tata Metal Lestari selected the equipment to ensure reliable handling of materials across its operations, where consistent performance and efficiency are critical to maintaining workflow.

Konecranes said the project reflects its focus on delivering solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety and uptime for industrial customers. The integration of monitoring technology is expected to support predictive maintenance and reduce unplanned downtime.

The installation will play a key role in optimising handling processes at the facility, supporting production flow and reinforcing the company’s operational capabilities in Indonesia’s growing industrial sector.
