Trans Global Projects has launched a new operation in Finland, strengthening its presence in Northern Europe and expanding its ability to support complex project logistics.
The new entity, TGP Finland, will operate as part of the company’s global network, focusing on industries such as heavy engineering, industrial manufacturing and energy. The move reflects TGP’s strategy to grow in markets where specialised logistics expertise and precise execution are essential.
“Finland is home to highly specialised industrial companies with demanding project requirements,” said Colin Charnock, Group CEO of Trans Global Projects. “Establishing TGP Finland allows us to support clients more closely, combining local understanding with our global experience.”
The Finnish operation will be led by Jussi Heinonen, who joins TGP with extensive experience in project cargo, heavy transport and logistics management across Finland and the wider Northern European region. He previously held senior roles at UPF Finland Oy and has worked on projects across Finland, Sweden and the Baltic states.
“I join TGP because of its clear focus on disciplined planning and delivery in complex environments,” Heinonen said. “Our goal is to build a strong local operation while leveraging the company’s global expertise.”
Andreas Menzel, Managing Director Northern Europe at TGP, added: “Finland is a technically demanding market where local expertise and coordination are key.”
TGP Finland will focus on supporting clients in heavy industry, energy and manufacturing, offering local engagement backed by international project logistics capabilities.
