First Gulf Sky has strengthened its fleet with three Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 mobile cranes, enhancing its capabilities for industrial lifting and steel structure projects.
Delivered from Ehingen, Germany, the 120-tonne cranes expand the company’s coverage across the 100 to 160-tonne range. According to the company, the compact dimensions and versatility of the LTM 1120-4.1 make it particularly suited to industrial environments, where flexibility and efficiency are critical.
The cranes will be deployed across a range of applications, including maintenance, repairs, component replacement and upgrades in industrial plants and steelworks. These operations often involve time-sensitive and technically complex lifts.
Described as the most powerful 4-axle crane in its class, the LTM 1120-4.1 features a long telescopic boom and strong lifting capacities at steep angles. This allows it to perform tasks typically requiring larger five-axle cranes, reducing transport and logistics costs.
First Gulf Sky highlighted reliability, performance and aftersales support as key factors in selecting Liebherr equipment. The company also confirmed plans to invest in five additional units of the successor model, further strengthening its fleet.
Founded in 1992, First Gulf Sky operates around 20 mobile cranes and supports major industrial projects across Saudi Arabia, including in key oil and petrochemical sectors.
