The Faymonville Group has reached an agreement to acquire majority shares in Morello, a Turin-based specialist in battery-powered heavy-load transport vehicles. Announced on February 10, 2026, the strategic move expands Faymonville’s portfolio of self-propelled solutions for intralogistics and industrial applications.
Headquartered in northern Italy, Morello is globally recognised for its electric vehicles designed to move heavy industrial loads within plant environments. With payload capacities starting from 5 tonnes, the vehicles are widely used to transport heavy equipment and semi-finished goods across sectors.

“We are proud and grateful that our technology will become part of the strong offer of the family-owned Faymonville Group,” said Amedeo Morello, representing the founding family. “With 80 years of market experience, the Morello name will be maintained and is looking forward to a promising future.”
Through the acquisition, Faymonville broadens its range of self-propelled transporters in lighter load classes, including models optionally equipped with AGV systems for automated operations. Combined with the Eco500 and Eco1000 series from Cometto, the integration of Morello vehicles enables the group to cover the full spectrum of intralogistics transport solutions.
The addition aligns with growing demand for emission-free and low-noise operations, particularly in industries such as railway, steel production, energy, nuclear and defence. Faymonville will incorporate its production expertise into Morello’s operations, reinforcing its position as a comprehensive provider of specialised and heavy haulage vehicles.
“This strategic acquisition significantly enhances our market position,” said CEO Alexander Fickers. “We are excited to welcome Morello as the newest member of our Faymily.”
