Rope and Sling Specialists Ltd. (RSS) will showcase its commitment to safety, training, and innovation at LiftEx 2025, taking place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on 18–19 November. Visitors can expect a dynamic display centred around the rebranded RSS Training Academy, alongside the latest updates on live365, RSS’s digital compliance and inspection platform.
The newly rebranded Training Academy reflects RSS’s closer alignment with the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and its State of the Lifting Industry Report. As part of LEEA’s Accredited Training Scheme (ATS), the academy ensures high-quality, industry-approved training delivered by experienced instructors in first-class facilities.
The live365 initiative combines inspection services with data analysis to improve safety and transparency across lifting operations. A new video presentation featuring Leanne Whitehurst-Maiden, national digitalisation manager, will highlight how RFID technology can create “digital passports” for lifting gear—storing lifecycle data to enhance traceability and compliance.
Managing director Steve Hutin said: “With our core products, the Training Academy, and live365, we’re bringing a powerful combination of training, technology, and compliance to LiftEx—plus a few fun touches like our darts challenge and hospitality.”
