Mammoet has announced a strategic partnership with Tugdock Submersible Platforms Limited (Tugdock) to expand the global adoption of the Tugdock Submersible Platform (TSP), an innovative technology that enhances buoyancy, stability, and load-in/load-out operations across marine industries.

The TSP is a modular floating platform that enables large structures to be transferred from quaysides into the water in a controlled process. Built from interlocking inflatable and deflatable component cells, it can be configured into platforms up to 120m x 120m with a lifting capacity of 30,000 tonnes. Each node point can withstand loads of up to 350 tonnes, while buoyancy is managed through compressed air, precisely controlled with computer systems and electronic gauges.

Beyond lifting, the TSP can extend quaysides, provide flexible floating jetties, or act as temporary offloading points—offering a solution where permanent infrastructure is impractical. Its versatility makes it especially valuable for offshore wind, as well as oil & gas, defense, LNG, civil engineering, and even space projects.

Barnaby Mills, General Manager of Offshore Services at Mammoet, commented: “We’ve followed Tugdock’s progress for some time and have been impressed by its innovation, particularly in offshore wind. The TSP system also brings clear advantages to other marine sectors where Mammoet already operates. We are excited to collaborate with the Tugdock team and help drive this technology forward commercially.”

Tugdock CEO Shane Carr added: “While our initial focus has been on offshore wind, we see strong potential in many other industries. Working with Mammoet confirmed our shared vision: to scale this innovation to the global market across multiple sectors. We are delighted to benefit from Mammoet’s reach, expertise, and support.”
