Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, part of the ALL Family of Companies, has recently added two new Link-Belt cranes to its fleet. The purchase is part of a larger order announced earlier, reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding its equipment lineup. The newly acquired cranes, a Link-Belt HTC-80100XL truck crane and a Link-Belt RTC-8065 II rough terrain crane, are now available for rent.

The HTC-80100XL truck crane stands out for its versatility and strength, boasting a 100-ton lifting capacity and a 164-foot power boom. Ryan Harrison, General Manager of Dawes, highlighted its compact design and powerful capabilities, saying, “It packs a lot of the same punch as an all-terrain crane but with a much smaller footprint. It’s compact, road-ready, and offers impressive swing speeds.” Harrison anticipates high demand for this crane across multiple industries, including steel erection, HVAC, and various construction projects like concrete pouring, truss installation, and pole building erection.

The second addition, the RTC-8065 II rough terrain crane, is a 65-ton machine known for its reliability and versatility on construction sites. As part of Dawes’ taxi fleet, it plays a crucial role in assisting with on-site tasks, making it a go-to for many projects.

Dawes’ longstanding partnership with Link-Belt further solidifies its reputation as a trusted provider of crane solutions. As an authorized Link-Belt dealer, Dawes offers customers access to purchasing, rental, parts, and service for Link-Belt products. The company also employs factory-trained technicians to ensure top-tier support for all Link-Belt equipment.

Harrison emphasized the confidence customers have in both Dawes and Link-Belt cranes, largely due to the equipment’s performance on the company’s own job sites. “It’s a clear sign of our investment in the product line,” Harrison explained. “When we continue to purchase Link-Belt equipment for our fleet, customers gain a comfort level with the product and regularly see evidence of the solid work these machines can do.”

For prospective buyers, Dawes offers the opportunity to see the cranes in action on job sites, allowing them to experience the machines’ capabilities firsthand. “We have a large customer base that believes in the product,” said Harrison. “New equipment customers can witness their value in real-world applications, demonstrating that they’re worth the investment.”
