Kobelco Construction Machinery has introduced the TKE750G, a telescopic boom crawler crane tailored for the European market. Boasting a maximum lifting capacity of 75 metric tonnes, this new addition is set to redefine the landscape of foundation works with its innovative features and robust design.

Scheduled to hit the market in mid-2024, the TKE750G is equipped with an EU Stage V-compliant Mercedes-Benz E9H01 (Daimler OM936LA) engine. This latest model upholds the fundamental concept of the G series lattice boom crawler crane models, ensuring high reliability, efficient utilization, and user-friendly operation. The TKE750G stands out for its exceptional durability and shared characteristics across all G series models.

Primarily designed for foundation works employing vibration hammers, auger drilling, and hammer-grabs for various casing methods, the Kobelco telescopic boom crawler crane series introduces a range of enhancements. With a larger engine capacity, shorter boom length, higher winch capacity on standard main/auxiliary winches, and stronger wire ropes, these machines outperform conventional telescopic crawlers in foundation works.

The TKE750G features a stiff 4-plate box structural boom tailored for foundation work, achieving a balance between light weight and durability through material optimization, construction refinement, and welding advancements. Its short boom length and side deflection-resistant fully powered boom make it highly adaptable to compact job-sites.

Equipped with a 22mm diameter wire rope boasting a 7.0-tonne rated line pull, the crane’s main and auxiliary winches are strategically positioned at the rear end, ensuring a compact main body. The power behind the TKE750G lies in the Mercedes-Benz E9H01 engine, a 7.697-liter water-cooled, in-line 6-cylinder direct injection, and turbo-charged powerhouse compliant with NRMM EU Stage V regulations, offering a rated power output of 254kW/2,000 min-1. This robust engine provides heightened hydraulic performance, particularly crucial during foundation operations.

The TKE750G model retains Kobelco’s innovative KCROSS (Kobelco Crane Remote Observation Satellite System). This technology enables machines fitted with KCROSS to transmit real-time working conditions, locations, and maintenance history, empowering owners with accurate data for informed asset management decisions.
