Gilles Duffaut has assumed the role of Director of International Logistics Development at AGL (Africa Global Logistics) starting from September 1, 2023. Working alongside Eric Melet, the CEO of Logistics and Rail Solutions, his primary responsibility is to expand the global network of this prominent African multimodal logistics operator.
Duffaut’s appointment reflects AGL’s commitment to fortify connections between its African network and the international stage while ensuring the growth of its logistics and freight forwarding endeavors. He will play a pivotal role in fostering collaborations with AGL’s partner logistics networks, including a strategic cooperation agreement with Bolloré Logistics.

With over 30 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, particularly in Africa and Asia, and holding a master’s in international business from ESCE International Business School, Gilles Duffaut brings a wealth of expertise to AGL, previously serving as CEO at GEFCO.
