Bolloré Transport & Logistics has been named the Best Regional Cargo Logistics Provider at the East Africa Maritime Awards held on Friday 17th September at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel, Mombasa. The award seeks to recognize a Logistics Company in the East Africa Region that has demonstrated its ability to consistently contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in Global Supply Chain, to further enhance and develop cross-border commerce while providing end-to-end logistics solutions to their customers. This is the second time that Bolloré Transport & Logistics has won the coveted award, the first being in 2018 during the inaugural East Africa Maritime Awards. Bolloré Transport & Logistics also scooped various other awards including the Best Cargo Transporter, the Best Logistics Provider in Uganda, the Best Warehousing Company, and the Occupational Health & Safety Award for its initiatives to increase workplace safety.

The awards, which drew entries from 77 participants in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and DR Congo, are a strategic initiative of the Kenya Port Authority in collaboration with the Kenya Maritime Authority, Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Trade Network Agency, Shippers Council of Eastern Africa, East African Business Council and Think Business Limited.
