Engineered Rigging has added an Officine CLP LG202 hydraulic gantry to its US rental and sales fleet, expanding its capability for heavy machinery installation, data centre work and industrial lifting in restricted spaces.
The LG202 is the second CLP gantry model to reach the United States since Engineered Rigging introduced the Italian manufacturer’s equipment to the Americas in August. The first, an LG132, was sold shortly after arrival to a specialist rigging company in Texas.
The new LG202 provides 200 tonnes of capacity across four legs while maintaining a compact footprint. It can lift to a maximum height of 7.48 metres, with each leg weighing approximately 3,150 kg and measuring 0.92 x 1.80 metres at the base.
Fully retracted, the gantry stands 3.05 metres high, allowing it to enter facilities where door height and overhead clearance restrict larger lifting systems. Compared with the LG132, the model provides around 54% more capacity at a similar lifting height.
“The LG202 gives them 220 tons of capacity in a package that ships on one trailer and fits through a standard opening,”said Mike Beres, Vice President of Engineered Rigging.
The system uses two-stage cylinders designed to maintain full rated capacity through both stages. Internally routed hydraulics eliminate exposed hoses, while each leg incorporates its own power pack.
Automated controls synchronise lifting, lowering and horizontal travel, with operators able to monitor lift height, load weight and system condition remotely.
The gantry uses Bosch Rexroth hydraulics and Siemens electrical systems and is certified to CE and ASME standards. Each machine undergoes dynamic testing at 110% and static testing at 125% of rated capacity before delivery.
Engineered Rigging will offer the LG202 for rental and sale alongside operator training, technical support and domestically fabricated accessories including gantry track and header beams.
