Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology has introduced the Intelli-Lift 2.0 Wireless Gantry Controller, adding new control, monitoring and safety functions for heavy lifting operations using its SL- and SBL-Series hydraulic gantries.
The new system allows operators to define gantry operating limits according to the load and maximum lift height, supporting more accurate load monitoring and improved lift control.
Intelli-Lift 2.0 can synchronously control up to eight gantries and features ergonomically designed dual joysticks with proportional speed control. Operators can switch between lifting, side shift and horizontal travel while maintaining precise control of gantry movement.
Wireless communication combines dual 2.4 GHz and Ultra-Wideband technology, designed to maintain connectivity in industrial and construction environments with high levels of RF interference.
The controller incorporates a 7-inch full-colour, sunlight-readable HD touchscreen displaying lift status, load and stroke information. Colour-coded status bands provide operating data at a glance, while an integrated selector dial supports navigation through the control menus.
Automatic data logging eliminates the need for manual recording, while the user manual can be accessed directly through the controller.
Carsten Daft, Senior Product Manager at Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology, said the system enables contractors to undertake more complex projects with greater precision.
“It gives Enerpac gantry users the opportunity to handle more challenging projects, involving up to eight gantries operating synchronously, with enhanced safety, improved reliability and efficiency,” he said.
The Intelli-Lift 2.0 also supports remote diagnostics, allowing Enerpac service engineers to connect to the system and carry out real-time checks and troubleshooting over the air, helping reduce downtime during lifting operations.
