Allelys is increasing its specialist heavy lifting capacity with the addition of an Enerpac SBL1100 hydraulic gantry system, taking its hydraulic gantry fleet to eight systems.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 1,070 tonnes and a lifting height of up to 12 metres, the SBL1100 is now the highest-capacity hydraulic gantry in the Allelys fleet.

The new system will provide additional options for complex lifting projects where restricted access, limited space or challenging site conditions can make the use of conventional lifting equipment difficult.

“Our investment decisions are shaped by the challenges our clients face and the capabilities our teams need to solve them,” said Richard Beardmore, Managing Director at Allelys. The SBL1100 will give our engineering and operational teams another option when developing safe and efficient solutions for complex lifting projects.”

The SBL1100 is a self-contained hydraulic lifting system designed to provide precise and controlled movement of heavy loads. Its modular configuration allows the system to be mobilised and installed across a range of project environments.

According to Allelys, the investment complements its existing heavy lifting equipment and will allow the company to address a wider range of lifting requirements, from initial engineering through to on-site execution.
