Kalmar has introduced its new TT7 series terminal tractor to the European market, expanding its portfolio of heavy-duty solutions for port terminals, yards, distribution centres and logistics operations. Developed specifically with European customer requirements in mind, the TT7 has been re-engineered based on extensive user feedback.

The new series features a heavy-duty galvanised steel frame and reinforced axles designed to enhance durability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh environments and extreme temperatures. Maintenance has also been simplified, with a redesigned front bumper built in three sections to allow easier repair and replacement.

At launch, the TT7 range includes three models. The TT770 offers a gross combination weight of 70,000 kg with a 20,000 kg lifting capacity. The TT785 increases GCW to 85,000 kg and lifting capacity to 28,000 kg, while the TT795 delivers a 95,000 kg GCW and a 32,000 kg lifting capacity. Kalmar plans to expand the line-up in 2026 with both a heavy-duty version and a fully electric variant.

Operator comfort and safety are central to the TT7’s cabin design. The tractor features one of the widest front windscreens in the segment, complemented by large rear windows and convex mirrors for improved visibility. Ergonomic controls include a digital display, adjustable steering column and steering knob for easier manoeuvring. Additional comfort comes from improved cabin suspension, climate control and a rotatable seat.

The TT7 also integrates advanced monitoring and connectivity features. Operators can track key performance data through an electronic control system, while built-in hardware and software enable connectivity with the MyKalmar INSIGHT platform, allowing customers to transform operational data into actionable insights.
