Kuehne+Nagel has enhanced its groupage network by introducing four new direct line hauls from Türkiye to Europe, significantly reducing lead times and optimizing connectivity. This strategic move comes in response to the growing importance of Türkiye as a trade partner for the European Union, driven by the rising trend of nearshoring that increases demand for reliable road logistics.
The new direct routes, offering multiple departures per week, connect Türkiye with most European countries, leveraging cross-docking hubs in Austria, Germany, and France to ensure seamless and efficient transportation. The setup delivers competitive lead times and comprehensive pan-European coverage.
Ali Bener, Head of Road Logistics for the Middle East and Africa, emphasized the importance of the initiative: “As trade relations between Türkiye and Europe grow, businesses need reliable and fast road freight services. Our new setup with additional line hauls, improved lead times, and pan-European coverage will particularly benefit customers with flows from Türkiye to multiple European destinations.
Kuehne+Nagel can be their single logistics provider, managing and optimizing all these flows. On top of that, customers enjoy shipment visibility and easy online booking through our digital self-service platform, myKN, which is included as a standard part of our service.”
