After years of collaboration, Hendrik Veder Group (HVG) and Dutch Steel Fabricators (DSF) have merged to form a powerhouse in the Offshore, Maritime, and Commercial Construction sectors. The newly combined company, with revenue exceeding €100 million, strengthens its market position by offering comprehensive lifting, rigging, and steel construction solutions.

HVG, headquartered in the Port of Rotterdam, operates globally with locations in the Netherlands, UK, Scotland, Norway, and Spain. The company specializes in steel wire and synthetic ropes, providing installation, load testing, inspections, maintenance, and certification services. HVG also leads in sustainable maritime solutions, integrating circular raw materials and asset management strategies for cost-effective, eco-friendly results.

DSF delivers steel construction solutions for Offshore, Maritime, Commercial Construction, and Leisure industries. With cutting-edge production facilities and in-house design and engineering expertise, DSF provides turnkey solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

This merger creates a “one-stop-shop” for lifting and rigging, integrating HVG’s lifting expertise with DSF’s steel fabrication capabilities. Gouda Constructie and Breda Constructie, part of DSF, will collaborate closely with HVG to enhance offerings for the Offshore and Maritime industries.

Other DSF companies will continue operations independently, with a focus on expansion.
