Brazilian crane company WWN Guindastes has strengthened its lifting capabilities with the acquisition of a used Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1. This is the second 500-tonne crane of this model in the company’s fleet, reinforcing its capacity for heavy lifting operations requiring long reach and high load capabilities.
WWN Guindastes cites Liebherr’s reliability and versatility as key factors in the decision. “The LTM 1500-8.1 is a powerful and adaptable crane, ideal for urban operations. Since we already operate this model, we are confident in its performance,” said Leonardo Navarro, engineer at WWN Guindastes.
The crane’s telescopic boom options of 50 and 84 meters, along with its mobility even when erected, enhance flexibility in complex projects such as crane dismantling and prefabricated component installations.
Beyond used equipment, WWN Guindastes continues to invest in Liebherr, with an LTM 1300-6.3 currently awaiting shipment. Navarro highlights the strong partnership with Liebherr: “Their support and after-sales service set the global standard. We trust Liebherr to enhance the value of our fleet and ensure safe operations.”
