Hareket has announced the appointment of Jonathan Anderson as the new Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Anderson will spearhead the company’s strategic growth initiatives, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience in the heavy lifting and engineering industries.
Anderson has an impressive track record in managing large-scale projects across key sectors such as oil & gas, renewable energy, power generation, and infrastructure. His career includes successfully leading business units across Africa, the Middle East, and Australia, where he demonstrated expertise in business strategy, operations, and leadership.
Prior to joining Hareket, Anderson served as the Regional Managing Director for the Middle East at Roll Group. During his tenure, he oversaw a period of rapid expansion and played a key role in shaping the company’s long-term strategy. Before that, Anderson spent a decade with ALE Heavy Lift, where he was responsible for business operations in South Africa, Nigeria, and Ethiopia, and led the company’s expansion into other African markets.
