Continental will present its latest tire technologies and digital fleet management solutions for port operations during TOC Europe 2026 in Hamburg, highlighting its growing focus on efficiency, sustainability and data driven logistics.
At the exhibition, Continental will showcase its ContiConnect digital tire management platform together with the new DockMaster Radial tire, developed specifically for demanding port applications including automated guided vehicles, reach stackers, top loaders, heavy forklifts and empty container handlers.
The company says the combination of intelligent tire technology and digital monitoring systems is designed to help ports reduce operating costs, improve fleet efficiency and lower emissions. According to Continental, optimized tire pressure management through ContiConnect can reduce fuel consumption by up to 2 percent while extending tire life by as much as 20 percent.
ContiConnect is available in both Lite and Pro versions, offering solutions ranging from app based mobile monitoring to advanced real time fleet management with automated reporting and system integration capabilities for larger port operations.
The new DockMaster Radial tire has been engineered to deliver increased durability and lower rolling resistance for high intensity port environments. Continental says the tire’s radial construction reduces heat generation during longer operating cycles, while a specially developed rubber compound improves resistance to abrasion, cuts and cracking.
Integrated sensors also allow operators to continuously monitor tire temperature and pressure, supporting predictive maintenance and reducing the risk of unexpected downtime.
