Qatar Airways Cargo, IAG Cargo, and MASkargo have unveiled plans to launch a Global Cargo Joint Business aimed at enhancing air freight services worldwide. The agreement, pending regulatory approval, brings together the strengths of the three leading carriers to offer a unified, more efficient cargo network.
The collaboration will streamline product offerings, improve connectivity, reduce transit times, and open newM routing options across their global networks. It also includes a joint effort to establish harmonized safety and security standards, positioning the partnership at the forefront of industry innovation.
Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, described the agreement as a “significant milestone” that will reshape global air cargo with “unparalleled service and connectivity.”
David Shepherd, CEO of IAG Cargo, highlighted the benefits of collaboration, stating the joint business would “unlock choice and opportunities” for customers while enhancing the role of cargo in global trade.
MASkargo CEO Mark Jason Thomas added that the partnership represents “a pivotal moment” for the airline, enabling enhanced services, expanded reach, and innovative logistics solutions.
Once approved, the agreement will enable customers to benefit from a more agile and accessible cargo network tailored to the evolving demands of global commerce.
