After thorough engineering and logistics preparations spanning 2.5 months, COLI achieved a successful delivery of a second-hand shiploader and its associated project cargo from Hamriyah, UAE, to Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This complex undertaking was managed by COLI’s Istanbul Team, completing the task within a span of 27 days.

The primary component, a shiploader measuring 15.5 x 8 x 8.4 meters, underwent a comprehensive inspection by a local team of engineers dispatched by the company in the UAE. Their task was to ensure that all hydraulic and steering systems were in optimal working condition, complemented by a meticulous measurement study.

In a swift two-day operation, the cargoes were relocated from a laydown area situated near Hamriyah Port, meticulously prepared for lifting and transportation, which included the handling of local customs clearance. COLI’s expert team then loaded the cargo onto trailers, transporting it to a specially chosen vessel.

Upon its arrival at the Rotterdam terminal, the team arranged for the cargoes to be transshipped to a barge, ultimately delivering them to the consignee’s terminal in Rotterdam, all while ensuring the cargo’s pristine condition was preserved throughout the journey.

The entire operation, from the initial loading in the UAE to the cargo’s arrival at the Rotterdam terminal, was executed within a 27-day timeline. Notably, with the exception of import customs clearance at the Port of Rotterdam, all associated services were handled by COLI’s adept team.
