Combi Lift is establishing a new regional base in Johannesburg to expand its heavy transport and project logistics capabilities across Sub-Saharan Africa.
The launch of Combi Lift Sub-Saharan Africa brings the company closer to major energy, mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, renewable energy and oil and gas projects across the region.
From Johannesburg, the new operation will provide project forwarding, heavy transport, multimodal logistics, cargo engineering, customs management, warehousing and turnkey project execution.
The expansion is also intended to improve local response times and strengthen collaboration with customers, EPC contractors, OEMs and project stakeholders operating across African markets.
Sunil Shetty, Managing Director of Combi Lift India, will also serve as Managing Director of Combi Lift Sub-Saharan Africa, while Anthony Higgins will oversee regional operations as Chief Operating Officer.

A key part of the strategy will be cooperation between the Johannesburg operation and Combi Lift India, particularly as Indian EPC contractors and manufacturers increase their involvement in African infrastructure and industrial projects.
Combi Lift India already manages project cargo flows from manufacturing and project sites in India to destinations across Sub-Saharan Africa.
