Subsea7 has been awarded a substantial contract by Noble Energy EG Ltd, part of Chevron, for the Aseng Gas Monetisation Project offshore Equatorial Guinea.
The project involves a single-well tieback connecting the Aseng field to the existing Alen platform. Subsea7’s scope includes the transport and installation of around 19 km of rigid production flowline and 20 km of umbilicals, along with associated subsea infrastructure, in water depths of approximately 800 metres.
Project management and engineering will begin immediately, led from Subsea7’s Paris office with support from teams in Lisbon and Equatorial Guinea. Offshore operations are scheduled to start in 2026.
“This award represents an important milestone in our ongoing global relationship with Chevron,” said David Bertin, Senior Vice President for Subsea7’s Global Projects Centre East. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration on the Aseng Gas Monetisation Project, delivering safe, high-quality offshore installation services in West Africa.”
