Van Oord has announced the appointment of Jeroen Sanders as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), effective 1 March 2026. The newly created role reflects the company’s strategic focus on transformation as a key enabler of sustainable and profitable growth. As CTO, Sanders will join Van Oord’s Executive Committee.
Sanders brings more than 28 years of experience in leading large-scale transformation and change programmes. Prior to joining Van Oord, he served as Chief Transition Officer at Enexis Groep, where he held several senior leadership positions. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive experience in the energy sector, including leadership roles at Essent.
In his new position, Sanders will be responsible for driving Van Oord’s multi-year transformation agenda, with a strong focus on enhancing organisational effectiveness and operational excellence across the business.
