Ketten Wälder GmbH, the manufacturer behind the stainless-steel lifting brand cromox, has introduced its latest innovation — the CDAW-F swivel lifting point (female version). Engineered for highly corrosive or hygiene-controlled environments, the new CDAW-F extends the company’s existing CDAW range, offering a versatile stainless-steel solution ideal for applications where an existing screw or bolt is already fitted to the load.

The CDAW-F provides 360° rotation and 180° swivel motion, automatically aligning with the pull direction of slings or chains. This self-adjusting design enhances both safety and handling efficiency, eliminating the need for manual positioning and reducing operational time.

Manufactured from Grade 60 AISI 318LN Duplex stainless steel, the CDAW-F offers exceptional corrosion resistance and ductility (DIN EN ISO 9227 > 1008 h). It is EN 1677-1 compliant, features a 4:1 safety factor, and is available in eight versions with working load limits from 0.5 to 10 tonnes.

Designed for demanding sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, water treatment, and marine/offshore, the CDAW-F ensures reliable lifting of equipment including tanks, mixers, and centrifuges in environments exposed to salt, chemicals, or strict hygiene standards.

CEO Franz Wälder commented: “The CDAW-F embodies our mission to deliver stainless-steel lifting equipment that performs reliably under the toughest conditions.”

Ketten Wälder has expanded stock across Germany, the UK, and the US to ensure rapid delivery and global support. The new CDAW-F will debut at LiftEx 2025, taking place 18–19 November 2025 at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
