MCS Rental Software has enhanced its eSign functionality, allowing rental companies to request electronic signatures via SMS text messages.
Previously, MCS eSign helped rental businesses streamline paperwork by eliminating the need for printing, scanning, and emailing signed documents. Now, with SMS-enabled eSign requests, obtaining legally binding agreements is even more efficient.
Nick Thomson, MCS Sales Director, explains, “In equipment rental, people are often on-site or in the yard, not at a desk. Sending eSign requests via SMS means users can sign documents instantly from their mobile phones.”
The new feature addresses a common challenge—delays caused by site managers being away from their computers. With quick mobile access to signature requests, rental companies can speed up agreements and get equipment out to customers faster.
