Hendrik Veder Group UK, a specialist in lifting solutions, has announced a new partnership with Test and Lift Engineering Services, a load-testing expert based in England. This collaboration is set to strengthen the support offered to the crane, marine, and offshore industries by enhancing Hendrik Veder’s service portfolio through regional access to specialized test weights.
Under the new agreement, Hendrik Veder Group UK’s Scottish branch will now distribute and lease test weights supplied by Test and Lift, diversifying the company’s offerings for the Scottish market. Leveraging its Aberdeen facility’s yard space and equipment, Hendrik Veder will provide a wider variety of custom, smaller test weights tailored to meet the needs of different projects. This expansion will bring increased flexibility and faster delivery times to their load testing services.
The modular test weights from Test and Lift, designed with the company’s manufacturing expertise, address many health and safety concerns typically associated with load testing, such as challenges in handling and securing the weights. With these versatile options now available locally through Hendrik Veder, clients in Scotland will benefit from quicker, safer access to custom solutions for specialized lifting needs.
“This collaboration is the natural next step in our relationship with Test and Lift,” said Bertwin Zonneveld, Managing Director of Hendrik Veder Group UK. “We’re thrilled to enhance our services and offer new opportunities for Test and Lift’s solutions in Scotland. The synergy between our teams has always driven meaningful improvements in industry standards. Collaboration is key, and we’re proud to lead on this front.”
Andy Clark, Director at Test and Lift, expressed similar enthusiasm: “Scotland has always welcomed our solutions, and this partnership with Hendrik Veder Group UK allows us to expand our reach and offer operators a greater choice of test weights. This alliance aligns with our growth objectives and brings exciting potential for both companies.”
