Kalmar, a division of Cargotec, has finalized a deal with Uniport Srl. to furnish them with three Kalmar TR618i heavy terminal tractors. This procurement was recorded in Cargotec’s Q2 2024 order intake, with the delivery slated for Q4 of the same year.
Uniport Livorno, established in 1980 as Unicoop, resides within the Port of Livorno in northwest Tuscany, one of Italy’s prominent seaports. Catering to a diverse range of vessels, including RoRo ferries, cruise ships, and assorted cargo vessels, Uniport Livorno has been utilizing Kalmar T2i terminal tractors for several years.
The forthcoming heavy terminal tractors will come equipped with cabin air suspension, offering operators enhanced comfort during their shifts.
